Job summary

Indsafri is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (Intermediate to Senior) to bridge business requirements with technology solutions in a hybrid Centurion/Johannesburg role. You will analyze processes, gather requirements, and work with stakeholders, architects, developers, and testers to deliver effective system solutions.

The ideal candidate has 4–8+ years of relevant experience, Gemstone platform expertise, and strong knowledge of APIs, SQL, and BPMN/UML.

Qualifications

4–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst.
Gemstone platform experience is mandatory.
Knowledge of APIs, system integrations and SQL.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
Hands-on with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, Lucidchart, Postman, SoapUI or Power BI.
Understanding of UML, BPMN and business process modelling.
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Analysis, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
Experience in financial services/investments is an advantage.
Exposure to AI, automation, analytics, or digital transformation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Analyse business processes, systems, data flows, and business requirements.
Conduct stakeholder workshops, interviews, and requirement-gathering sessions.
Translate requirements into functional/non-functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
Design and document business/system solutions and support implementation.
Collaborate with technical teams, architects, developers, and testing teams.
Participate in UAT, functional and integration testing and validate delivered solutions.
Identify opportunities for process optimisation, automation, analytics, and AI.
Support digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders.
