Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology solutions in a Paarl-based role. You will gather requirements, define project scope, and facilitate collaboration between stakeholders and IT teams.

Key duties include translating needs into functional specs, running workshops, creating workflows and user stories, and supporting UAT throughout the project lifecycle. A hybrid work model is offered to balance collaboration and focused work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a technology-focused environment.
• Proven ability to gather and document complex business and technical requirements.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders across various departments.
• Translate business needs into clear, concise functional and non-functional specifications for IT development.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather input and ensure alignment on project goals.
• Develop process flows, use cases, and user stories to clearly define project scope and requirements.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and development teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide support throughout the project lifecycle.
