Job summary

Decision Inc. is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our Automated Digital Applications team.

You will engage with client stakeholders to understand requirements and translate business problems into IT solutions. You will work across consultation, scoping, development, and implementation, creating user stories, specifications, and trainings while coordinating with PMO and client teams to deliver value.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years Business Analysis experience.
• Process design & optimization experience.
• Exposure to SDLC and/or Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong communications and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently with technical and business users at various levels.
• Extensive knowledge of business systems.
• Quality assurance experience and best practices.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Excellent writing and editorial skills.
• Ability to network and cultivate productive relationships.
• Time management and ability to multi-task across priorities.

Responsibilities

• Understand client environment, business challenges and issues.
• Elicit underlying problems and recommend solutions from business and systems perspectives.
• Work with UX/UI and developers to create value through solutions.
• Document requirements and develop user stories and specifications.
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements for development teams.
• Manage client expectations on projects.
• Conduct requirements gathering and workshops; participate in JAD sessions.
• Develop project artifacts such as functional specs and system designs.
• Create test cases and support QA; ensure timely issue resolution.
• Coordinate documentation and client training content.
