Job summary

Clothing Junction is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong project management to join our Durban-based head office on-site. You will work across business and technology functions to identify needs, define requirements and manage multiple projects from discovery through to implementation and handover.

This mid to senior role requires leading workshops, documenting requirements, evaluating solutions, coordinating testing and governance, and communicating clearly with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in business analysis, systems analysis and project delivery, at mid to senior level.
• Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects or workstreams.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiatives from discovery and requirements through testing, implementation and handover.
• A Business Analysis qualification, diploma or recognised certification.
• Strong practical project management experience.
• Sound knowledge of project planning, governance, risk and issue management, and change control.
• A practical understanding of relational databases, systems integrations and SQL.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to explain complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organisation, accountability, problem-solving and commercial judgement.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions and stakeholder discussions.
• Gather, analyse and document business, functional and system requirements.
• Prepare business requirements, functional specifications, process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria and supporting documentation.
• Analyse existing processes and identify inefficiencies, control gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Evaluate potential solutions based on operational fit, feasibility, cost, risk, business value, return on investment and scalability.
• Manage multiple projects or workstreams from planning through implementation, handover and post-implementation review.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies and status reporting.
• Coordinate business owners, internal teams, software teams and external vendors.
• Manage project governance, stakeholder communication and change control.
• Coordinate System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
• Support implementation readiness, training, communication, cutover and operational handover.
• Use SQL at an investigative level to validate information, trace transactions and support root-cause analysis.
• Identify practical technology and non-technology solutions that improve processes, controls, productivity and customer outcomes.
