Placements24 is seeking a Senior Building Architect for a fully remote role based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. You will lead architectural design across diverse projects from inception to completion, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliance with codes and client briefs.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of post-qualification experience, SACAP registration, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite. Excellent communication and leadership are required to drive successful project delivery

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) and SACAP registration.
• 7+ years post-qualification experience in architectural projects.
• Experience leading projects from concept to completion.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive design proposals, including concept development, schematic design, and detailed design documentation.

• Oversee the preparation of construction drawings, specifications, and tender documents.

• Manage project budgets and timelines for architectural phases.

Requirements
