Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proficient Building Architect to join their team, offering remote work and projects across the region and beyond. You will lead conceptual and detailed design for residential, commercial, and institutional buildings, ensuring function, aesthetics and compliance.

The ideal candidate has a professional Architecture degree, SACAP registration, and at least 7 years of experience with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and V-Ray.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture and SACAP registration.
• Minimum 7 years of architectural design and project delivery experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and visualization software (e.g., V-Ray).
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project management principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly in a remote work environment.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating design capability.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative architectural designs for residential, commercial, and institutional buildings.
• Produce detailed design documentation, including drawings, renderings, and specifications.
• Coordinate with engineering consultants and contractors to ensure seamless project integration.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site analyses for potential projects.
• Ensure all designs comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability standards.
