You will play a pivotal role in conceptualizing and developing cutting-edge architectural projects from inception through to completion. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for diverse architectural projects, including conceptualization, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
• Collaborate closely with clients, project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver innovative design solutions.
• Prepare high-quality architectural drawings, renderings, and presentations using industry-standard software.
• Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies to inform design decisions.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and client specifications.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the remote team.
• Stay abreast of emerging architectural trends, technologies, and sustainable design practices.
• Manage project documentation and maintain organized project files in a digital environment.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in architectural design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of project types.
• Proficiency in architectural design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Lumion/Enscape.
• Demonstrated experience in leading design teams and managing project deliverables.
• Excellent understanding of building construction principles, materials, and detailing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, essential for a remote-first role.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a virtual setting.
• Professional registration with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP) is advantageous.
