Obrien Recruitment in Cape Town CBD is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day books across 2–4 entities using Sage Pastel Xpress. The role requires accuracy, independence and strong reconciliation skills.

You will maintain records, perform reconciliations, handle debtors and creditors, assist with VAT and month-end processes, and liaise with external accountants. Proactivity and attention to detail are essential.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years’ bookkeeping experience.
• Sage Pastel experience is essential.
• Experience managing books for multiple entities.

Mansioni

• Process invoices, payments, receipts and journals in Sage Pastel Xpress.
• Maintain accurate records across 2–4 entities.
• Perform reconciliations of bank, supplier and customer accounts.
• Manage debtors and creditors and monthly reporting.
• Support month-end processes and VAT submissions where applicable.
