Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Johannesburg is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper/Compliance Manager to own and oversee the finance function. You will manage month-end close, payroll, VAT, SARS submissions and cash flow forecasting while ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial records.

Requirements include a BCom in Accounting, SAIPA/SAICA articles, and at least 6 years of bookkeeping experience, with in-office work in Hilton. Proficiency in Sage Pastel is essential.

Qualifications

• BCom in Accounting essential.
• SAIPA or SAICA articles completed required.
• Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial control.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and manage monthly accounts.
• Manage bank accounts and payment loading.
• Perform bank, debtor and creditor reconciliations.
• Process accruals, prepayments and month-end journals.
• Manage payroll, VAT, PAYE and credit control.
• Prepare and submit SARS returns and payments.
• Monitor cash flow and forecasting.
• Take full ownership of month-end close process.
• Ensure financial records are accurate and up to date.
