Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
• Diploma or degree in Accounting/Finance required; relevant certifications advantageous.
• Strong working knowledge of Xero, Sage Pastel, Excel and Sage VIP.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure accurate financial records.
• Oversee invoicing, billing, and collections; ensure timely processing.
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and execute payroll including deductions and statutory submissions.
• Lead month-end and year-end closings; prepare supporting documentation.
• Generate financial statements for internal use.
• Coordinate with external auditors; provide required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and assist with tax processes.
• Supervise junior finance staff and streamline workflows.
• Act as liaison between finance team and senior management.
