Job summary

West Coast Personnel in Parow is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant to manage the full bookkeeping and accounting function across multiple companies and trusts. The role requires Pastel experience, strong Excel skills, and solid bookkeeping expertise.

Responsibilities include cashbook processing, reconciliations, supplier payments, budgets, audits, and reporting to the Group CFO and Property Manager. The ideal candidate will be accurate, organized, and able to work independently.

Qualifications

• Pastel experience is required.
• Strong MS Office 365 skills, especially Excel.
• Solid bookkeeping/accounting experience.
• Experience with SARS and VAT submissions.
• Accounting qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Cashbook processing and bank reconciliations.
• General ledger and loan account reconciliations.
• Supplier payments and bank account management.
• Property budgets, rental schedules and reporting.
• Preparing audit files and liaising with auditors.
• Insurance administration and claims.
• Reporting to the Group CFO and Property Manager.
