Job summary

CVQuest in Cape Town is seeking a detail-driven Bookkeeper to manage the full bookkeeping function up to trial balance. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Pastel (V19) and have 3 – 5 years of bookkeeping experience in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires immediate availability and the ability to work unusual hours, including 2 Saturdays per month. Salary ranges from R15,000 to R20,000, with various bookkeeping duties, ensuring compliance and supporting finance reporting.

Qualifications

• 3 – 5 years’ bookkeeping experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Immediately available and have own transport.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full bookkeeping function up to trial balance.
• Process and reconcile accounts (debtors / creditors / expenses / statements).
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Support the finance team with reporting requirements.
