Job summary

Headhunters is seeking a diligent Bookkeeper in the Eastern Cape who can manage day-to-day financial tasks accurately. You will handle bookkeeping records, excel reporting, and payroll processes in a structured environment.

Requirements include a relevant diploma, 3-5 years experience, proficiency in Pastel Partner, Xero, or Sage, and fluency in English and Afrikaans. VIP Payroll experience and statutory returns knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant Diploma / Certificate in Bookkeeping.
• 3-5 years' Bookkeeping experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with accounting software such as Pastel Partner, Xero, or Sage.
• Fluent in both English and Afrikaans (written and spoken).
• Ability to follow instructions and work within established processes.
• Must have experience in working on a payroll system, especially VIP Payroll.
• Must have experience in submitting statutory returns (PAYE, VAT, Workmen's Compensation).
