Job summary

AECOM in Pretoria, Gauteng, is seeking an experienced BIM Lead Verifier to drive model quality and coordination for building projects. You will manage BIM360 workflows, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with BEP, BIM standards, and client requirements.

The role requires extensive hands-on Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo, and Python skills, plus strong leadership to guide junior staff and deliverables under pressure. Hybrid work arrangement, and a focus on accuracy and delivery.

Qualifications

Minimum 12 years' experience in drawing/modelling of concrete and steel structures.
Minimum 7 years' experience of relevant Revit modelling.
Expert knowledge of Industry BIM standards, processes, and general approaches.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Act as BIM Lead Verifier and ensure compliance with BIM Execution plan and standards.
Proactively checks and coordinates project BIM models to meet client requirements.
Initiates coordination strategy and reporting using Navisworks and other tools.
Be gatekeeper of all incoming/outgoing model and drawing information.
Manage submissions and ensure QA/QC protocols.
Guide and manage junior staff and organize work to meet deadlines.
