Job summary

Placements24 in Randburg is seeking an Architectural BIM Coordinator to lead BIM implementation across projects. You will develop standards, coordinate models across architecture, structure, and MEP, and ensure data integrity for seamless collaboration.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 years in BIM coordination, expert Revit and Navisworks skills, experience with BEPs and federated models, and strong training and communication abilities to support Randburg teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture/Construction or related field.
• Minimum 6 years BIM coordination experience focusing on architecture.
• Expert Revit and Navisworks skills with BIM workflows.
• Experience developing BEPs and content libraries.
• Knowledge of federated models and interdisciplinary coordination.
• Strong communication and training skills for Randburg projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement BIM standards, protocols, and best practices for the architectural team.
• Manage and coordinate BIM models from multiple disciplines (architecture, structure, MEP).
• Conduct clash detection and issue resolution to ensure model accuracy and consistency.
• Provide training and support to architectural staff on BIM software and workflows.
• Ensure compliance with project BIM requirements and South African national BIM standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to optimize BIM usage for design, documentation, and construction.
