Placements24 seeks a seasoned Senior BIM Coordinator to lead Building Information Modeling efforts for major Pretoria projects. You will establish BIM standards, manage the federated model, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

This role demands deep technical expertise in BIM software and workflows, with a strategic mindset to improve collaboration, data integrity, and efficiency across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in BIM coordination or management.
• Extensive knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, and other BIM-related software.
• Proven track record in coordinating complex BIM projects.
• Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain BIM execution plans and project-specific standards.
• Coordinate and manage the federated BIM model from various disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP).
• Conduct clash detection analysis and facilitate resolution of design conflicts.
• Provide training and support to project teams on BIM software and best practices.
