Job summary

AECOM SA is seeking an experienced BIM/Revit modeller to join our Building Engineering team in a hybrid work arrangement. You will model, coordinate, and deliver BIM drawings with limited supervision, ensuring adherence to client requirements and BEP standards.

You will work on multiple projects, coordinating with design disciplines and using Navisworks, BIM 360, and related tools to ensure timely delivery and high quality BIM content.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience with Revit modelling in BIM environments.
• BIM Qualification / Diploma / bachelor’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of BIM standards and BEP.
• Experience with Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360 and AutoCAD workflows.

Job Description

Here is what you will be doing:

• An experienced user in Autodesk Revit Software (Buildings) or Bentley OpenBuildings / Microstation who can model and produce drawings with limited supervision
• Checks and coordinates project BIM models and deliverables to ensure they meet Client requirements and Industry Standards and project BIM Execution Plan
• Checks the completeness & accuracy of your work before review by the Senior Engineer or designated senior team member.
• Follow coordination strategy and reporting using Navisworks and other coordination software and supports the team through the delivery phase
• Adopts creative and innovative solutions to assigned tasks, undertakes appropriate research, and develops documentation to support these solutions
• Assist with the management and coordination of all in-coming and out-going model and drawing information.
• Manages projects in BIM360
• Organizes own and others work to achieve set deadlines
• Keeps abreast of the latest software/ techniques to increase productivity

Qualifications

• Ability to fulfil all the above duties and responsibilities
• Ability to work on multiple projects at once
• Good technical knowledge of practice line discipline
• Understanding of the design process and interfaces between design disciplines
• Computational skills – Dynamo / Grasshopper / Python
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Autodesk BIM 360, Navisworks, presentation software and working on projects in a BIM environment
• Develops BIM content based on BIM modelling standards and as outlined in BEP
• Knowledge of Industry BIM standards, processes, and general approaches
• Knowledge to set up the configuration and administration of projects for respective discipline in Revit and AutoCAD
• Technical knowledge of concrete, steelwork, and reinforcement 3D modelling
• Minimum 5 years’ experience of relevant Revit modelling
• BIM Qualification / Diploma / bachelor’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and understand the importance of delivery and client satisfaction
• Strong analytical, literacy and numerical skills
• Good planning and organizational skills
