Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an expert Architectural BIM Specialist to join a forward-thinking practice in Richards Bay. The role focuses on optimizing BIM usage across all project phases, developing strategies, workflows, and standards, and providing technical training to project teams.

You will lead BIM execution plans, manage central models, and facilitate clash detection, with opportunities to influence BIM strategy within the firm and work on prominent coastal development projects in Richards

Qualifications

Extensive experience as a BIM Specialist or Coordinator with a strong architectural background.
Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and other BIM software.
Experience developing and implementing BIM standards and protocols.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage BIM execution plans and project-specific BIM standards.
Create and manage central BIM models, ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide technical guidance and training on BIM software and workflows to project teams.
Facilitate clash detection and resolution processes using Navisworks or similar software.
Collaborate with project managers and consultants to integrate various discipline models into a coordinated whole.
