Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior BIM Architect to drive BIM implementation across projects, enhancing design coordination and project efficiency. You will develop BIM standards, oversee BEPs, and train teams to ensure data integrity throughout the lifecycle.

The role demands a strong architectural background, with expertise in Revit and Navisworks, and a passion for digital transformation in Limpopo and beyond.

Qualifications

• Professional Architect qualification or equivalent relevant degree.
• Minimum 6 years of architectural experience with a strong BIM focus.
• Expert proficiency in Revit and Navisworks with BIM protocols (IFC).
• Experience in developing and managing BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement firm-wide BIM standards, workflows, and best practices.
• Lead BIM coordination meetings and resolve clashes between project disciplines.
• Manage and deliver BIM models for all project phases with accuracy and completeness.
• Provide training and technical support to architectural staff on BIM software and processes.
• Collaborate with project teams to define BIM requirements and ensure delivery.
