The ideal candidate has 5+ years in hospitality event management, strong leadership and budgeting skills, and proficiency with event software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in banquet or event management within hospitality.
• Proven ability to plan and execute a range of events from meetings to large functions.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of banquet and event operations for client satisfaction and profitability.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, guiding them through planning stages.
• Create event proposals, contracts and BEOs for approvals.
• Coordinate with kitchen, banquet staff, AV and sales to ensure seamless delivery.
• Supervise setup/breakdown and ensure venue standards are met.
• Manage event budgets, track expenses and implement cost controls.
• Lead and train banquet staff and monitor performance.
• Conduct pre-event briefings with staff and clients to confirm details.
• Troubleshoot issues during events promptly and professionally.
• Stay updated on industry trends and introduce innovative ideas.
