Placements24 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with extensive Java and Spring Boot experience to design, develop, and deploy robust backend systems for fintech solutions. The role emphasizes microservices, RESTful APIs, and scalable architectures, with remote work flexibility.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of backend experience, strong database and ORM proficiency, and familiarity with cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of backend software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+) and Spring Boot.
• Experience with microservices architectures.
• Relational databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL and ORM (Hibernate).
• Familiarity with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to support client applications.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers on requirements and designs.
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance across development to production environments.
• Ensure security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
