Placements24 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Randburg with strong Java and Spring Boot experience. You will design, develop, and deploy scalable backend systems and microservices for financial tech applications. The role emphasizes code quality, security, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You will mentor junior engineers, contribute to architecture, and stay up-to-date with new technologies while enjoying a fully remote option for exceptional candidates.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Engineering.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot experience.
• RESTful web services and relational DBs with Hibernate.
• Git experience; microservices and distributed messaging (Kafka/RabbitMQ) a plus.
• Awareness of Agile methodologies and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
