Placements24 is seeking a Senior Automotive System Integration Engineer to lead the integration of complex vehicle systems in East London, Eastern Cape. You will define strategies, develop test procedures, and troubleshoot to ensure seamless performance across electronic, electrical, and software components.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in automotive system integration.
• Experience integrating complex electronic, software, and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Define integration strategy for new vehicle platforms.
• Oversee integration of subsystems: powertrain, chassis, electrical, infotainment.
• Develop and execute integration test plans and validation procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve system integration issues.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and mechanical teams.
• Document processes and test results.
• Support manufacturing by addressing integration concerns.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead system integration activities.
