Placements24 is seeking a Senior Automotive Test Engineer for our East London, Eastern Cape client. You will design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans for automotive components, ensuring performance, durability and reliability through rigorous testing and analysis.

The role requires 6+ years in automotive testing, experience with CAN/LIN, data acquisition systems, and tools, and strong problem-solving and communication skills in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of automotive testing and validation experience.
• Experience designing and executing test plans for complex automotive systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement test procedures for automotive components and systems.
• Execute performance, durability, environmental, and functional tests using specialized equipment.
• Analyze test data and generate detailed technical reports with conclusions.
