Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Automotive Systems Integration Engineer to join our Benoni-based team. The role focuses on integrating powertrain, chassis, ADAS, and infotainment systems with MBSE/SysML-guided methods in a hybrid work setting.

You will define interfaces, manage integration challenges, and verify performance across subsystems, collaborating with software, hardware, and mechanical engineers to deliver high‑quality vehicles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in automotive systems engineering.
• Proven experience in integrating and testing complex automotive systems.
• Strong understanding of vehicle architectures and communication networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
• Familiarity with system engineering principles and tools.

Responsibilities

• Define system integration strategies and interface requirements for vehicle subsystems.
• Oversee the integration of various automotive systems, including powertrain, chassis, body electronics, and ADAS.
• Develop and execute system integration test plans and procedures.
• Analyze test results, identify integration issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional engineering teams to resolve integration challenges.
• Ensure system requirements are met throughout the development lifecycle.
