Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive systems engineering or integration.
• Solid understanding of powertrain, chassis, body electronics, and ADAS interactions.
• Experience with system integration tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with DOORS and automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet).
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across diverse teams.
• Experience in hybrid on-site and remote work environments.
• Willingness to work on-site in Bloemfontein for testing.

Responsibilities

• Define system integration requirements and interfaces between subsystems.
• Develop and maintain system integration plans and validation strategies.
• Coordinate with subsystem engineers for compatibility and performance.
• Lead and participate in system integration testing, validation, and verification activities.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve system integration issues and anomalies.
• Develop and manage system-level requirements traceability.
• Create and maintain documentation including integration specs, test reports, and issue logs.
• Support engineering teams in troubleshooting integration problems.
• Ensure compliance with automotive standards and best practices.
