Placements24 is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for a leading automotive parts manufacturer in Johannesburg. You will optimize manufacturing processes, drive continuous improvement, and lead cross-functional projects to enhance efficiency and product quality.

The role requires 7+ years of experience in process engineering within manufacturing, strong lean/Six Sigma knowledge, and proficiency with CAD and process simulation tools. Hybrid work arrangement offered in Gauteng.

Formación

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering required.
Minimum 7 years of experience in process engineering within manufacturing, preferably automotive.
Strong knowledge of lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsabilidades

Analyze and optimize existing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Develop and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies to meet evolving demands.
Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve manufacturing goals.
Design and oversee the implementation of new equipment and machinery for seamless integration.
Develop and maintain SOPs and process documentation.
Train and mentor junior engineers and production staff on improvements.
Monitor KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
