Placements24 is recruiting for a leading automotive manufacturer in Johannesburg, Gauteng. We seek a Lead Process Engineer to design, develop and continuously improve manufacturing processes, ensuring safety, quality and cost-efficiency.

The hybrid role blends on-site collaboration with remote work to optimize production lines. You will mentor junior engineers, lead cross-functional projects with R&D, QA and production, and evaluate new technologies to enhance throughput and product quality.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering required.
• Master's degree is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes for automotive components.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and execute process improvement projects using lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, process documentation, and SOPs.
• Mentor and guide junior process engineers, fostering their development.
• Evaluate and adopt new manufacturing technologies to enhance efficiency and quality.
