Placements24 is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Benoni to lead the design and development of high-performance automotive components. You will drive from concept to production, performing FEA/CFD analyses and coordinating with CAD, testing, and manufacturing teams.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of automotive experience, a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, and strong skills in CATIA/SolidWorks and ANSYS/Abaqus, with leadership and problem-solving abilities to advance vehicle

Qualificações

Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
7+ years of progressive experience in mechanical design and development, automotive focus.
Proven CAD/expert tool usage (CATIA/SolidWorks) and advanced simulation experience.

Responsabilidades

Lead the mechanical design and development of automotive components, including engine, chassis, or powertrain systems.
Conduct comprehensive FEA and CFD analyses to optimize component performance, durability, and reliability.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including CAD designers, testing engineers, and manufacturing specialists.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for assigned component development projects.
Develop and execute rigorous testing plans, including component and system-level validation.
Prepare detailed technical documentation, specifications, and reports for internal stakeholders and clients.
