Job summary

WatersEdge Solutions is seeking a Senior Application Support Engineer (Client Platform) for a global technology business operating across South Africa, the UK, US, UAE, and Brazil. This is a hands-on, client-facing role that goes beyond traditional helpdesk support and encompasses deep technical problem-solving and end-to-end ownership.

You’ll own installation, configuration, support and troubleshooting of a client-facing Electron/Vue.js desktop platform with a C# backend on Windows and Linux

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical support, solutions engineering, or similar.
• At least 2 years of client-facing technical experience.
• Hands-on C# with ability to read and debug code, logs, and stack traces.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical contact for enterprise clients with deployment issues.
• Own cases from initial contact through diagnosis, resolution, validation and follow-up.
• Lead remote installations and upgrades within complex corporate environments.
• Work with client IT teams during installations and walkthroughs.
