Placements24 is seeking a Senior Appliance Repair Technician for our East London team. You will diagnose and repair a wide range of domestic appliances, lead complex jobs, and mentor junior technicians where needed.

The role requires strong diagnostic skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently in the East London area. A valid driver’s license and trade qualifications are valued assets.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience as Appliance Repair Technician.
• Ability to diagnose and repair major brands (Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, Bosch).
• Strong diagnostic electrical, mechanical, and plumbing knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Relevant trade qualifications or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide variety of domestic appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens and dishwashers.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on appliances.
• Identify faulty parts and replace them with genuine or compatible components.
• Interpret technical manuals and diagnostic codes to identify problems.
• Explain issues and recommended repairs clearly to customers.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and time taken for each job.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company procedures.
• Manage your schedule and service calls to meet customer needs.
