Job summary

South African Postbank SOC Limited is seeking a Senior Analytical Cube Developer to lead the design, development and implementation of approved Advanced Analytical Cube Development solutions in line with company standards. You will manage end-to-end cube projects, mentor staff, ensure data governance and compliance with POPIA/FSCA, and collaborate with Analytics to drive strategic BI initiatives.

This role requires a strong background in data engineering, BI, and budgeting, with leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering or relevant field (NQF Level 7)
• Honours or Masters in relevant field (NQF Level 8 / 9) (Ideal)
• 5+ Years Relevant Advanced Analytical Cube Development-related experience at a Specialist level
• 3+ Years Managerial / Team Leading experience
• Candidates with relevant experience in the Banking Industry (Advantageous)

Responsibilities

• Provide input into cube development strategies and procedures, in line with company goals.
• Manage the full life cycle of approved Senior Analytical Cube Development and Data Engineering projects.
• Lead and mentor direct reports to meet project goals within budget and timelines.
• Ensure seamless integration of metadata cube structures and related initiatives.
• Track progress, budgets and timelines; mitigate risks and delays.
• Contribute to data governance, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Promote a positive, inclusive team climate and HR policy adherence.
