Business Segment: Insurance & Asset Management

Location: ZA, GP, Roodepoort, 4 Ellis Street

To develop either Business Unit/Corporate Function analytics strategies and framework(s) aligned to Standard Bank Group data and business strategies. To lead and manage a team across a variety of data, processing capabilities and technologies in order to deliver high quality analytics that provide model and customer decision strategies. To be responsible for the time, cost and quality of projects delivered by the team, according to the model risk policy and deployed into operational processes.

Experience Required

5-7 years. Fluency in data analysis tools, techniques, and visualisations (for e.g. Advanced Excel, Looker, Tableau, etc). Proficiency in performing statistical analysis in SAS/R/Python for purposes of guiding and overseeing Business Analytics work.

Proven track record for success in leading advanced analytics teams and building out best-in-class capabilities, with 5-7 years of experience. Additionally, 8-10 years of experience is preferred with a proven track record for success in leading advanced analytics teams, building out best-in-class capabilities, and creating business value from data analysis.
