Placements24 is seeking an Aircraft Structures Engineer to join its Richards Bay engineering team. You will analyze, design, modify, and repair aircraft structures, ensuring airworthiness and compliance with SACAA, EASA, and FAA standards.

The role demands a strong background in structural mechanics, materials science, and hands-on collaboration with maintenance and manufacturing teams. A minimum of five years in aircraft structural analysis is required, with expertise in FEA tools such as ANSYS

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering with a specialization in Structures.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft structural analysis and design.
• Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software (e.g., ANSYS, NASTRAN).
• Strong understanding of aircraft materials, composite structures, and metallic structures.
• Knowledge of relevant aviation regulations and certification processes (e.g., SACAA, EASA, FAA).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Perform structural analysis, including stress, fatigue, and damage tolerance assessments using FEA software.
• Design and develop modifications and repairs for aircraft structures, ensuring compliance with airworthiness directives and specifications.
