About the Role

Our client, a rapidly growing software solutions provider, is seeking an experienced Senior Agile Project Manager to lead software development projects for their diverse clientele. This role is based remotely, offering flexibility to candidates across South Africa, but requires strong communication and collaboration skills. You will be responsible for guiding agile teams, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of software products, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of agile methodologies, a passion for technology, and a proven ability to manage complex software projects from concept to launch. Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach and mentor development teams on agile principles and practices.
• Manage the product backlog, ensuring user stories are well-defined, prioritized, and estimated.
• Track project progress, identify impediments, and implement solutions to ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, stakeholders, and development teams to ensure project alignment and success.
• Manage project risks and dependencies, proactively addressing potential issues.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality software products that meet client requirements.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and team collaboration.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in project management, with a significant focus on agile software development.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification is required.
• Proven experience in managing multiple software development projects simultaneously.Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Trello.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage time in a remote work environment.
