Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Agile Project Manager to join our technology team in George, Western Cape. The role blends remote flexibility with in‑office collaboration to deliver high‑quality software on schedule.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and work with product owners and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement while maintaining strong communication and delivery discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in Agile software development.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple software development projects concurrently.
• Strong understanding of the SDLC and software delivery lifecycle.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
• Manage scope, timelines and resources for software projects.
• Build strong relationships with development teams, product owners and stakeholders.
• Identify and remove impediments hindering progress.
• Track and report progress, metrics, and risks to stakeholders.
• Ensure high-quality software delivery aligned with business needs.
• Promote continuous improvement within teams.
• Coordinate with other PMs for cross-project alignment.
