Job summary

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
• Experience in medical, healthcare, clinical, or hospital environment.
• Sales experience within hospitals with medical devices or consumables.
• Valid South African driver''s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Willing to relocate to Johannesburg or Durban.
• Experience with hospital billing and NAPPI codes.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell surgical instruments and consumables to hospitals, theatre managers, procurement teams, and surgeons.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities.
• Provide product and technical support during surgical procedures within theatre environments.
• Coordinate the delivery, collection, and management of instrument sets and consumable stock.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock management processes.
• Ensure accurate case billing by capturing product usage, applying NAPPI codes, and completing documentation.
• Liaise with hospital procurement and billing departments regarding purchase orders and queries.
• Participate in after-hours and emergency surgical support on a standby basis.
• Prepare and submit regular activity, sales, and business development reports.
