Placements24 is seeking a Senior Account Manager for its Sandton office to lead high-value client relationships and drive wealth management solutions. You will craft tailored financial plans and coordinate with investment analysts and planners to deliver comprehensive advisory services.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in financial services, strong negotiation and communication skills, and relevant CFA/CFP certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in account management or financial advisory.
• Proven track record managing significant client portfolios and targets.
• Knowledge of investment products, wealth management, and corporate financial solutions.
• CFA/CFP certifications are highly preferred.
• Based in or able to commute to Sandton, Gauteng.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage and nurture a portfolio of high-value client accounts within Sandton and Gauteng.
• Develop and implement strategic financial plans to meet client objectives.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling financial products and services.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide expert advice to clients.
• Build and maintain trust-based relationships with key decision-makers.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Achieve and exceed revenue and client retention targets.
