Placements24 in Paarl is seeking an accomplished Senior 3D Modeler to join a distinguished visual effects studio. You will create high-quality 3D assets for feature films, TV series, and games, translating concept art into production-ready models and ensuring seamless integration with the pipeline.

You will collaborate with directors and artists, sculpt, retopologize, UV map, and texture assets, while optimizing performance for real-time engines and renders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a 3D Modeler in VFX, gaming, or animation.
• Proficient in polygon modeling, sculpting, UV mapping, and texturing workflows.
• Strong eye for detail and anatomy, with ability to work in a team.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D assets, including characters, props, and environments, for feature films, television series, and game development projects. Your expertise in translating concept art and 2D references into detailed, production-ready 3D models will be crucial.
