Job summary

Growth Resourcing is seeking a Senior 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join our technical support team. You will own tickets from start to finish, delivering advanced Microsoft 365 support across multiple client environments.

Focus on Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and Intune, with strong PowerShell-based troubleshooting and security policy management. This role offers exposure to MSP-style multi-tenant operations and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2nd-line IT support experience in a busy environment.
• Strong Microsoft 365 expertise across Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and Intune.
• Experience with Windows 10/11 and modern workplace tools.
• Proficient in PowerShell for administration and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of identity, access management and security.

Responsibilities

• Own tickets from start to resolution within defined SLAs.
• Provide advanced 2nd line support across Microsoft 365 environments.
• Troubleshoot Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint and Teams.
• Manage user access, licensing, MFA and security policies.
• Assist with Defender, retention, DLP and eDiscovery as needed.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
• Support tenant onboarding, configuration and migration activities.
• Maintain accurate ticket notes and technical documentation.
• Work across multiple client tenants with standard change controls.
• Identify recurring issues and propose automation or standardisation.
