Job summary

EdUpStairs seeks a Security Supervisor for the Gauteng Division of The High Court in Pretoria. You will oversee security officers and service providers, manage access control, and ensure the protection of premises and assets.

The role requires Grade 12, at least one year in security, and knowledge of security procedures, emergency measures, and relevant legislation. A driver’s license is advantageous and MS Office literacy is essential.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 certificate is required.
• At least 1 year of relevant security experience.
• Grade B PSIRA certificate is advantageous.
• Valid driver's license is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of access control procedures and security legislation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise security officers and service providers.
• Authorize equipment, documents and stores movement into/out of the premises.
• Monitor access control to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports.
• Ensure security systems function through scheduled maintenance.
