Job summary

Tsebo Solutions Group in Johannesburg is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead and coordinate security staff, uphold site standards, and ensure safe operations.

You will manage access control, patrols, incident response, surveillance, reporting, and client service while complying with PSIRA regulations.

The role requires a PSIRA Grade B certificate, Matric, a valid driver's license, and physical fitness; firearm competency is an advantage.

Qualifications

• PSIRA Grade B certificate is required.
• Matric / high school diploma.
• Experience in security roles and knowledge of access control, CCTV and alarms.
• Strong reporting and communication skills.
• Ability to handle conflicts calmly and professionally.
• Physically fit and able to work shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Driver's license is advantageous; firearm competency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate security staff; maintain order and discipline.
• Control access points, verify identities, log visitors, manage flow.
• Perform site patrols, inspections, and perimeter checks.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies; manage trespassers professionally.
• Monitor CCTV and security systems; identify threats.
• Maintain incident and client communication records; write reports.
• Deliver excellent client service and uphold integrity and ethics.
• Enforce PSIRA standards and local site procedures.
• Ensure security equipment is functional and report issues.
