SA Metal Group is seeking a Security Officer at the Elandsfontein Branch to protect people and property, control access, patrol assigned areas and ensure documentation is accurate. The role requires integrity, vigilance and strict adherence to company procedures.

Qualifying: Grade 12 and 2–3 years relevant experience; hardworking, self-motivated, with clear verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills.

Formación

• Grade 12 completed.
• 2–3 years of relevant security experience.
• Hardworking and self-motivated with professional conduct.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
• Good time management and organizational abilities.
• Willing to work extended hours.

Responsabilidades

• Control access and egress at SA Metal properties with registers and gates.
• Search pedestrians, vehicles and belongings exiting premises.
• Ensure PPE is issued and returned for visitors.
• Escort items leaving premises with relevant documentation.
• Ensure company procedures are followed before granting access (breathalyzer tests, etc.).
• Patrol assigned areas at regular intervals.
• Adhere to company policies and report suspicious activities.
• Keep Incident Report Book up to date.
• Book in/out containers/bins and safeguard property and assets.
• Protect all persons on premises and perform ad-hoc tasks as directed.
