SA Metal Group is seeking Security Officers at the Secunda Branch to manage access, perform checks, and maintain safety procedures. The role involves enforcing PPE protocols, documenting movements, and patrolling premises with a focus on vigilance and professionalism.

Ideal candidates have Matric/Grade 12 and 2-3 years’ relevant experience, are hardworking, reliable, and able to communicate clearly. Extended hours and strong customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Control access and egress at SA Metal premises by maintaining registers and operating gates.
• Search pedestrians, vehicles and belongings as they exit SA Metal facilities.
• Ensure customers and visitors receive PPE and collect PPE after visits.
• Ensure all items leaving SA Metal have the required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Breathalyzer tests where applicable.
• Patrol assigned areas at regular intervals.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times.
• Observe and report suspicious activities.
