Job summary

CyberPro Consulting (Pty) Ltd in Centurion is seeking a Senior Technical Scrum Master to lead an Ecosystem Modernisation Programme within a complex enterprise technology environment. You’ll work with platform engineering, architecture, infrastructure and software delivery teams to keep delivery moving.

You’ll facilitate Scrum ceremonies, manage dependencies, and remove blockers while coaching teams on Agile practices.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years' experience as a Scrum Master or Agile practitioner in complex technology environments.
• Strong understanding of software delivery and technical delivery.
• Experience with platform engineering, infrastructure, enterprise architecture or systems integration.
• Proven ability to manage technical dependencies and blockers across multiple teams.
• Proficient with Jira, Confluence and modern software delivery tooling.

12-Month Contract | Centurion | Hybrid (2–3 days in office)

Rate: R600–R730 per hour

Do you understand the technology behind the delivery?

We're looking for a Senior Technical Scrum Master to join an Ecosystem Modernisation Programme within a complex enterprise technology environment. This isn't just about running stand-ups and updating Jira. We need someone who understands software delivery, can work confidently with technical teams, and knows how to keep complex delivery moving when dependencies, risks and technical challenges get in the way.

What you'll be doing

Lead Scrum ceremonies and help technical teams deliver predictable, quality outcomes.

Work closely with platform engineering, architecture, infrastructure and software delivery teams.

Manage cross-team dependencies, remove impediments and address delivery risks before they become bigger problems.

Support delivery across digital platforms, systems integration, APIs and enterprise technology foundations.

Work with architects, technical specialists, vendors and stakeholders to keep everyone aligned.

Coach teams on Agile practices, continuous improvement and delivery discipline.

Use Jira, Confluence and modern engineering tools to track progress, manage dependencies and report on delivery.

Support programme governance, reporting and coordination across multiple workstreams.

Requirements

What you need to bring

These are the key requirements:

5–8+ years' experience as a Scrum Master or Agile practitioner in complex technology environments.

A strong understanding of software development and technical delivery — you need to understand what the engineering teams are delivering, not just facilitate their meetings.

Experience working with platform engineering, infrastructure, enterprise architecture or systems integration teams .

A proven ability to manage technical dependencies, remove blockers and keep multiple teams moving towards shared delivery goals.

Experience working with developers, architects, technical specialists and other delivery stakeholders.

Practical experience with Jira, Confluence and modern software delivery environments, ideally including Git-based tooling and CI/CD.

Strong facilitation, communication, problem-solving and Agile coaching skills.

What will give you an advantage?

Experience in financial services, banking, insurance, employee benefits or retirement administration, particularly within a large enterprise environment. Scrum or Agile certifications are also beneficial.

Contract: 12-month initial contract

Location: Centurion

Working arrangement: Hybrid, with 2–3 days in the office

Rate: R600–R730 per hour, depending on experience
