A leading energy solutions provider is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join their team on a 12-month renewable contract in Bellville, Cape Town. The role requires at least 3 years of Scrum experience and approximately 2 years in the IT/Software Development realm. As a Scrum Master, you will guide the team in Scrum practices, ensure removal of obstacles, and support the Product Owner and Development Team. This hybrid position offers flexibility, requiring only two days in the office per week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience managing team(s) and the team process as a Scrum Master.
• Approximately 2 years’ experience in the IT/Software Development/Product landscape.

We're seeking a Scrum Master on an Intermediate Level (3+ years of Scrum), to join our client's team on a 12-Month Renewable Contract in Bellville, Cape Town.

• This position is Hybrid (2 days in office per week - Bellville, Cape Town)
• Applicants should already reside in Cape Town / Western Cape (if not, you should already have family or a temporary set-up here and the ability to move here at short notice.)

Summary of the Position

• The Intermediate Scrum Master acts as a servant leader to the Scrum Team and Organization, helping them to adopt and get better at Scrum.
• They ensure impediments to Scrum Team delivery of high value software are removed, and also ensure that the Scrum Team adheres to the Scrum principles, values, roles, rules, and practices.
• They help Product Owners and Development Team members play their Scrum role, but otherwise does not in any way control or strongly influence how the software is developed and delivered.
• 3 years’ experience managing team(s) and the team process as a Scrum Master
• ~2 years’ in the IT/Software Development/Product landscape
• BIG BONUS POINTS: SAFe Certification - particularly SAFe 6, but not a must-have.
