Jobbeschreibung

PwC's South Africa Technology and Innovation Centre (SATIC) is a human-led, technology-enabled delivery hub that supports PwC's global network by providing high-quality, scalable and risk-managed business services.

The Integrated Risk and Resilience team helps to identify, assess, and mitigate risks within PwC UK that could create real or perceived conflicts and harm the firm’s reputation. It manages the firm’s relationships with regulators, plans for when disruptions to services occur, while also supporting the transformation and everyday operations of the Central Risk Management function.

Within Integrated Risk and Resilience, the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team plays a key role in helping the firm identify, assess and respond to significant strategic, operational, regulatory, and other risks. It provides risk analysis and insight to support firmwide governance and decision-making, including through the Executive Risk Committee, Risk Management Oversight Board, and Supervisory Board Risk Committee.

The ERM team manages the firm’s enterprise risk management processes, including the Integrated Risk Review (IRR); covering risk reporting, monitoring and prioritisation; risk governance and disclosures, assurance mapping, Network Standards, risk technology initiatives and support for regulatory engagement.

The role offers broad exposure to the UK firm and global network’s risk landscape and supports the team through governance coordination, high-quality research, analysis, drafting, and process improvement. The successful candidate will work with a varied and evolving workload, applying sound judgement, and escalating matters appropriately.

Summary:

  • Contribute to the continual improvement of risk processes, reporting and ways of working, including the effective use of data, technology, automation, and AI.
Qualifications / Certifications required:
  • Relevant degree in Risk Management, Business Management, Internal Audit, Governance, Compliance, Information Systems, Business Continuity or a related field.
  • Project Management certification (advantageous)
Experience required:
  • 3-5 years of experience in risk management and project coordination

  • Confident working with data and technology, with proficiency in Microsoft and AI tools and a focus on using automation, analytics and AI to enhance risk management processes.
  • Demonstrates initiative and accountability, working independently and proactively to deliver high-quality work within agreed timescales.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to review and refine outputs, identify inconsistencies, and maintain accurate records.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesise large volumes of information and identify key themes, trends and insights.
  • A clear, accurate and inclusive communicator, able to distil complex or incomplete information into concise, impactful reports, presentations and management information, and to engage confidently with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Intellectual curiosity and an interest in enterprise risk management, governance and regulatory matters, with a willingness to build knowledge across strategic and operational risk topics.
  • Collaborative and adaptable, with experience of building effective relationships and contributing positively within a virtual team.
  • Sound judgement, including knowing when to resolve matters independently and when to seek guidance or escalation for senior attention.
  • High levels of integrity and discretion, with experience of handling confidential or sensitive information appropriately.
  • An understanding of a large, complex organisation and the interdependencies between business areas would be beneficial.
Responsibilities of role:
  • Support the IRR process, including coordinating information requests, consolidating stakeholder inputs, maintaining documentation, tracking actions, and supporting risk area prioritisation.
  • Assist with the production of enterprise risk reports, risk intelligence packs, papers, presentations and briefing materials for risk committees, senior stakeholders and other governance forums.
  • Support Network Standards activities by coordinating stakeholder engagement and project delivery, reviewing documentation, and providing system support.
  • Support risk technology and continuous improvement initiatives, including the ServiceNow pilot, data analysis and reporting automation.
