Job summary

PwC SATIC in Johannesburg seeks a Manager-level business application integration specialist to drive Workday integration initiatives across the full project lifecycle. You will design, configure and deploy integrations, and mentor team members to deliver value.

You will lead workshops, translate business needs into robust configurations, manage testing, and ensure timely delivery while collaborating with PwC's global network.

Qualifications

• Experience with integrations across complex enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is required.
• Workday HCM Core Services Certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into scalable integration designs and configurations.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to and/or lead client Workday integration projects from design through deployment.

Summary:

This role supports and sometimes leads Integration workstreams on client Workday implementations, contributing across the full lifecycle from design to deployment. Working under the guidance of Managers and Senior Managers, this role configures integrations, participates in requirements workshops, and helps translate business needs into robust, scalable system designs. The Senior Associate assists with managing ticket queues and executing unit, end-to-end, and regression testing, ensuring quality and adherence to project timelines.

Qualifications /Certifications required:

• Integrations Systems experience (i.e. SAP or Oracle).
• Workday HCM Core Services Certification or Workday HCM Pro preferred.

Experience required:

• 4+ years

Responsibilities of role:

• Contributing to and/or leading our client facing Workday projects, from design through to deployment, as part a project team
• Configuring integrations.
• Conducting working sessions to gather and analyse business requirements; translate into scalable configuration designs and managing ticket queues
• Understanding of HCM information process flows to ensure scalable and efficient solutions
• Leading unit, end to end and regression testing

Desirable skill sets include:

• A background in Human Capital or IT related fields
• Ability to understand E2E HCM business processes and gather data requirements to support the data migration process flows
