Job summary

Evotec Plastics in Cape Town seeks a SAP Systems Administrator to provide reliable administration and SAP support, ensuring accurate user access, master data and business transactions. The role will start with SAP support and expand to creditors responsibilities.

The successful candidate will oversee master data, ensure audit trails, load partners, manage credit applications and train SAP users, while maintaining strong controls across the system.

Responsibilities

• Manage reception, main switchboard, purchasing, couriers, and archive administration.
• Act as the first internal contact for routine SAP queries and manage user creation/amendment/removal with an audit trail.
• Load new business partners and manage credit applications; maintain master data for customers, suppliers, products and pricing.
• Train SAP users and provide refresher training to reduce recurring errors.
• Verify supporting documents, identify missing data, and strengthen administrative controls.
• Monitor transactions for incompleteness or errors and assist departments in correcting them.

Evotec Plastics , a Cape Town base manufacturer specialising in innovative packaging for the cosmetic and corporate promotional markets is seeking a SAP Systems Administrator to provide reliableadministrative and SAP support while protecting the accuracy of user access,master data and business transactions. The role will initially focus onadministration and SAP support, expanding to creditors responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

General Administration

• Manage reception, the main switchboard, consumable and stationery purchasing,couriers, filing and archive administration.

System Admin

• Act as the first internal point of contact for routine SAP queries andcoordinate approved user creation, amendment and removal while maintaining theuser-access register.
• Loadnew business partners, manage credit applications.
• Createand maintain approved customer, supplier, product and pricing master data.
• Trainnew SAP users and provide refresher training where recurring errors areidentified.

Master Data Management

• Verifysupporting documents and approvals, identify inaccurate or incomplete masterdata and maintain an audit trail of changes.
• Monitorincomplete, blocked, outstanding or incorrectly processed transactions and helpdepartments correct errors and strengthen administrative controls.
• Managecreditor processes up to account reconciliation and payment preparation.

Requirements

• A relevant tertiary qualification,or currently in their second year of studies, in Accounting, Finance, Bookkeeping, Business Administration or a related field.
• Practical experience working inSAP.
• Strong attention to detail,accurate record-keeping and sound problem-solving capability.
• Excellentcommunication skills and the confidence to support and train users.
