Job summary

Asilia Africa seeks a Sales Team Lead in Cape Town to be the Regional Sales and Reservations Manager’s operational partner. The role keeps daily sales activity organised, maintains quality, solves problems and identifies risks early.

This leadership and operational role focuses on supporting the team, not direct agent communication, while building leadership experience and staying close to day-to-day delivery.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated strong performance in a Sales Consultant role or a comparable role.
• Ability to use dashboards and Excel or equivalent reporting tools.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and prioritisation.
• Clear internal communication, coaching and feedback skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily team check-in and ensure priorities, deadlines, cover needs and risks are clear.
• Oversee enquiry allocation, track response times and address service level gaps.
• Provide first-line guidance on quoting, itinerary design, rates and systems.
• Coordinate leave, training, handovers and out-of-hours support.
• Drive quality checks, incident resolution and learning across the team.
